Adopt a
Turtle
To symbolically adopt a sea turtle, all you need to do is to make a donation
of R$ 100.00 to Pró-Tamar Foundation. You will get an Adoption Kit containing
an exclusive t-shirt related to the program as well as the Certificate
of Adoption with the turtle’s name you want.
All the resources raised through the Adoption Program help to finance
the “tartarugueiros” work – fishermen and coastal communities’ residents
that are hired to monitor the spawning beaches, protect the females, nests
and the baby turtles during the reproduction season.
